GW Power Safe specialise in a range of electrical services; providing consultation, design and installation services to both residential and business clients. The team also offer full safety testing and inspection, ensuring full compliance with the critical British Safety Standards. According to Electrical Safety First, faulty electrics and electrical equipment account for around 70 deaths and 350,000 injuries in UK homes each year.
Established in 2014, GW Power Safe has expanded from its original three to 12 full-time staff in total; more of half of which have been appointed and upskilled through apprenticeships. In order to accommodate the increasing workload, the team have recently relocated to a new workspace and required a server of their own.
Director, Daniel Haley, liaised with Jamie at Johnson Reed, who facilitated finance for the server, new hardware and a secure storage solution in conjunction with the relocation deadlines. The lease allowed GW Power Safe to acquire their desired equipment whilst minimising the upfront cost and spreading the remainder through smaller, manageable sums over a set period.
“Leasing is very important for a new growing business like ourselves, as it keeps large upfront costs down and helps the cash flow so we can carry on growing. Johnson Reed were really helpful and answered any questions we had promptly. Once we’d signed the documents, the application was processed very quickly.” Luke Howlett, GW Power Safe
